she sees the smile on my face...
and she hugs me tight! ! !
drills her thoughts right into my soul..
enchanted and stupefied i surrender..
and she smiles...oblivious of that big hole...

its a sham...a fib dripped smile
painted across the glum and the grumpy..
like the orange steak painted across the blues of the skies..
exorbitant and endless..
perennial and affirmative..
she finds what she is looking for..
joy, bliss, warmth, care, love...
abundance..
and i intend to spoil her...
but just as she hugs me tight! !
cheek to cheek...
a tear drops from my eyes..
this pain i have to hide inside..
because you wouldn't care
because the grass is always green and the roses are red..
i consume the thorns and the dust...
the sand and the rough..
the despicable and detestable..
to let you know the fairies and the moon...
that dance happiness drunk..
besotted by the charm..this carefully woven dream...
you fall asleep into my arms..
and i'm wide awake...

there is no expectation..
no solace...you can provide..
in my darkest hours...you walk away..
with your abundance of unreasonable reasons, ,
beyond the horizon of incomprehension..
i bleed my wrath, excruciation, agony...
for the depth so magnanimous
if you fall..you will not survive..
so i slip away it away behind the curtains..
tuck it under my pillow..
hide it somewhere deep down..
so you may never see...
to which you chose to be oblivious..
unrelenting, callous...
and i don’t want to beg anymore
for my feelings to be recognized...
let them be..
I’m cold inside...but warm for you..
my heart is frozen...and will not thaw..
but i love you so much...that i wanna see you laugh! !
so i will breed life into this fabrication of truth..
so you may live forever..
for i have died within..
broken dreams..and faded hopes..

you can come to me...when you feel lost..
i will guide you to the shore..
but i'm drowing within..
almost sunk..
which you cannot see...
never will..
because i will cut the cake of parody for you! ! !
and the pieces will taste just fine! ! !
just fine enough for you! ! ! !
