I'D Love - Poem by Mark Ruiz

How I'd love to hold her tight.
How I'd love to make her smile.
How I'd love to kiss her every morn.
I'd love to have her one long night...
I'd love to see her every day,
Even if it were hundreds of miles.
I'd love to hold an umbrella in the rain for her,
Even place my coat over a puddle for her,
Even though I'd be cold and it'd leave a stain.
I'd love to do so much with her,
And still I can't.
