I Don'T Fear Poem by Claire Ann Sansolis

I Don'T Fear

Rating: 3.5

It’s not that I’m so choosy
But I fear I may miss out

Since I have learned from what I didn't want
In fact, given the choice, I’ll only pick one

One true thing set apart from the rest
One great love untainted and the best

I don't fear death
I don't fear heights
I don't fear loosing
I don't fear man

This one thing I fear the most-
To miss his will and what is right

I know few men who'll show they are gentlemen

For most that I have met will put their best foot forward

Someone I tested to go an extra mile
In return what I got was a harsh reply

So now I'm evaluating those who were consistent

He has been my hero since the first time we've met

I'm glad tonight God opened my eyes
A leader is a servant and that's what I want
