I DON’T NEED TO KNOW ANYTHING



I don’t need to know anything
to understand that every living creature
needs my love and care
or my comprehension
for the weakness that living induces
to those who strive for their existence.
I don’t have to be rich to give
to those that have less than I do.
I don’t have to seek abundance
when it causes poverty and misery,
if I lose my humanity
and respect for everything
I meet and share the earth with.
One cry, and I stumble
at the sufferings of others.
No, I’m not a Saint,
only a lover of human beings
who needs more consciousness!
I don’t accept unhappiness as necessary.
Self discovery is my daily hobby.
