I lose myself when you are near
Your eyes, your hair, your chin so dear
They make me weak and desperate
A stranger to myself, I forget

You don't see me as I truly am
But only you can change this sham
I can't resist your hold on me
I vanish in your presence, see?

Your smile, your snub, your turn away
They erase my mind, I have no say
Whatever you do, I fade and fade
I don't know why this game is played

Trust me, I am more than this
I don't know why I lose my bliss
I don't know how to break this spell
I don't know who I am, oh well
