I Feel Safe - Poem by Frederick Kambemba Yamusangie

I feel safe in front of a blank paper

Holding a pen in my hand

Creating stories I like

Creating believable characters

Choosing real events

While the outcome depends one me

I feel safe on front of a blank paper

As it takes me

Where it could be dangerous

For me to be in real life…
