I am captured in a play that
has no scene.
I am caught up in a life that,
has no future for tomorrow.
this is more than what i've hoped and prayed for.

In a distance I see you.
In a shadow I hear you.
In a disappearing ghost I held your hands.

It's now dat I see clearly.
It's now dat I know what it means to be in pain.
the shallowed heart I refuse.
for everyone to see what darkness I'm living in.
but, I still feel the pain.
