I Killed Henry Poem by felix paintwhenpainted

I Killed Henry

today
I went out to play
with my new friend
I went to give Henry his end

it was all an experiment
a requirement
for a greater cause
I hammered out his brains without pause

on a grey brick
I emptied him from his skin so thick

whats the matter?
a iron hammer
struck into my soul
broke an orange bleeding hole

on his smiling face
I emptied my inner disgrace
a simple thought
and all the horror that it brought

do you see?
these remnants, they were he
he that smiled
and with love was piled
he who once even cried
and then died...

now when I hear a song
the lyrics make me long
no matter what any of you say
i will never forget today...

it was only an experiment
a simple to-be-met requirement
and how strange now is this feeling
that when I killed Henry. somewhere, I started bleeding
