I Know I Am In Love...
My True Self
is rising in Love
My False Self
is falling in Love
Love has become
my guiding light
I am walking
the path of Love
I know I am in Love.
I have forgotten
the fatuous duality
I believe in
Oneness of all
Veil of my mind
has been rent forever
I have realized
my unison with the Whole
I know I am in Love.
I see myself in others
My neighbor’s child
appears my own
I hear the stray dog’s
urge for food
My heart desires
for a walk in the wood
I know I am in Love.
Fear and anger
are things of past
Joy and compassion
now grow in my heart
My soul has drunk
the milk of daylight
My mind feels
the silk of silence
Has been quenched
the fire of vengeance
I know that I am in Love.
