Deeper and deeper falling more
Closer and closer still
Higher, higher to God I’ll soar
Because my Saviour will

I love God, because He loves me
Jesus because He cares
The Holy Ghost through whom I see
The fruit salvation shares

I love The Lord with heart and soul
In spirit through and through
For guiding me towards the goal
No wildest dream can view

Because He heard my sinful cry
Because His mercy’s real
Because He chose for me to die
And give to me His Seal

Because He sees my inner being
The wayward road I’ve trod
Because of faith now seeing
That Jesus Christ is God

Forgiven loved by grace approved
Each day is such a thrill
How can my soul not now be moved?
How can my tongue be still?

How can my soul my God deny
How can my heart refuse?
How can one doubt and wonder why
I gladly share the news

He lives! He lives inside of me
With fire with grace and love
He lives my friend to set you free
To rise with Him above
