days pass by again and again
as i stand still, waiting for my best friend
missing the times when i had you here
missing the times when i held you near
my heart is starting to separate
as day after day i have to wait
i think about you all the time
remembering the days i called you mine
i miss you calling me everyday
or when i was gonna leave, you begged me to stay
i smile when i think of times we spent together
or when you told me our love was gonna last forever
you seen me as i was, who i am, and who i want to be
you gave me your heart and set mine free
you see me as perfect me, not as much
everyday your gone i long for your touch
you see me as beautiful, i see me as plain
take me inside your heart and heal my pain
you gave me your love and made me feel
you took away my pain and made my heart real
theres no one else for me after the life we've been through
