I Love You Poem by Hermione Femalton

I Love You

The three words 'I love you'
Mean the most in the world;
They’re precious, they’re gentle
they’re open; unfurled.

The three worlds 'I love you',
Shouldn’t be scorned.
They’re beautiful, they’re shining,
And should never be mourned.

The three words 'I love you',
Are what human crave,
Not a weapon or reassurance
And should never deprave.

The three words 'I love you',
Mean everything and more,
They’re kind and they’re careful
And should always be sure.
