I love you everyday
I am very sorry
That things haven't gone your way

You know this is a cruel world
And I would like to say
That you are just the world to me

The pain that you have gone through
Is with me all the time
And I am very proud to say
That you, daughter are mine

We've been through some hard times
And we are very strong
That's why God made you my daughter
And we have that special bond

I'll love you till forever
So please don't you forget
That all these things that have happened
I truly do regret

In years to come, when I am gone
