Why must people think
That I'm a beast
When I'm just me
Yet they will never get
A chance to see me
Because I'm trapped with in
Myself
If only I could escape
But a last I cannot
So I lay here with the judgement
Of the world
And yet I still have hope
That people won't think of me
As a beast
But as human
Who lived, loved, cried, and DIED

Don't read a book by its cover. Lovely little poem about the beast no one ever cared to get to know; all along simply assuming him to be a beast on the inside as well. Thanks for sharing.10+
