I'M Never Poem by Tanner Geldart

I'M Never

I'm not who I was,
Never gonna be that person again.
I've realized enough now to know that over sympathizing has to end.
Give people what they deserve, what they've earned from you.
Don't be the one who's always nice.
Be someone who's willing to stand up and fight tooth and nail for what you want.
And walk away from the battles that are not worth the pain.
Don't become other peoples stepping stools and welcome mats just to make them happy.
Because nice guys truly do finish last, while the bad boys place in the middle.
Find the balance between the two so you can finally get ahead.
