I Made Acquittance And Now Look Poem by Rebecca Stansfield

I Made Acquittance And Now Look

Rating: 4.5

There was a gracious propeller in my mind,
That always spoke words I could never speak outloud.
But circled fangs,
and motivated me to speak.

There was a great probability,
A large one that one day I would make it.
Make it as something gracious,
Glorious or envious, or something, because I knew.

There was a drastic changeably sunset hiking,
When tree's heighted the air.
When building standing, naked bare,
Too careless to care.

The purpose truly upon me,
Uneasy, still I care.
The draft where my brain would be,
If the tree's were not standing, swaying, there!

What am I? A demon,
The one who seldom cared?
Where is the flexibility?
Room to move, no, pardon me.

I'm eternal though, you see
You can't even count me.
Counting the pushes, deadly so.
Push me over, win me down and see me go.

I can't, I'm a flame I'm eternal,
Till, the blow gets blown at night,
But the smoke lingers in the sitting room,
You've seen it linger right?

It' me, circling in the dining room,
Now, laughing, while you sit in dark.
I'm the engine in the ferry-trip,
The pen lying on and in the mark.

It's a great contrary, something,
I'd be, I'd be something!
It's confusing isn't it? I know,
I made acquittance and now look, LOOK, who has to go!
