I miss you,
Blue skies stretch between us,
A gap filled with whispers and dreams,
Distance wraps its arms around us,
Yet it can never steal my heart.

Each sunrise feels half-lit,
Without the warmth of your laughter,
Each sunset seems to sigh—
Only shades of longing linger.
I can't kiss you goodnight,
But my thoughts hold you tight.

This space may try to pull us apart,
Like threads of a frayed rope,
But love is a bridge,
Wide and sturdy as the ocean,
Connecting our souls,
No matter how far we drift.

Know that if the world
Tries to dim my light,
You are the flicker
That shines through the clouds.
Every heartbeat carries your name,
Every breath a promise,
That the miles mean nothing—
Just steps in this dance,
This beautiful, wandering song of ours.

So while I count the stars,
Wishing you could see them too,
Make sure my heart,
Wrapped in dreams and whispers,
Always finds its way to you,
Across the distance,
Always—forever with you.
