I remember it as if it were yesterday,
The day I was left speechless with nothing to say.
Arriving home, looking forward to seeing you,
Seeing your face was all I wanted to do.

But you left without saying good-bye,
I felt like I wanted to die.
I hate the people the people that did this to you,
I really wish I could hit 'undo'.

Not a day passes without your memory,
That I don't wish here with us is where you could be.
I remember the laughs and the fun we had,
That we can't add more is what makes me sad.

Why god took you, I do not know,
But now you're in heaven watching the show.
You're in a place that's full of peace,
Living eternity with such great ease.

We all miss you dearly,
But that I'm sure you can see clearly.
I cannot wait to cease the pain,
For when we reunite, I will again feel sane.
