I Remember Mama Poem by Marguerite Anderson

I Remember Mama

Monumental woman of God
I still hear your voice before the dawning of day
Summoning the power of Abba Father
To keep the enemy at bay
And I- awash with fear at the tremor and thunder
Of your tongue,
- Can't help but feel safe
When the army of angels throng.
Though you have long departed,
Your prayers have kept me strong.

It is possible- I am sure
-To love from the grave,
For I still feel your presence, Mama
And your loving arms, I will forever crave.
