I Remember You Poem by Mystic Qalandar

I remember You,
as You remembered me—
at my first breath,
when You summoned me
into Your presence,
inscribing me within the Eternal Covenant:
Am I not your Lord?
Yes, my Lord.
Your question resounds, radiant as light,
along the edges of all being.
At my center, Your resonance glows—
I know it, intimately, as the soul's own flame.
A mystic pleasure stirs in my heart:
You have not shut me out, not wholly.
Yet each time I feel it,
I am reminded of You.
Every time. Without fail.
I am precious to You,
held forever in Your remembrance—
ever-present,
no matter how fiercely
the veils of illusion blur.
