I Sometimes Poem by Okello Baloyi

I Sometimes

I sometimes bath quickly, as they say an early bird gets the chunkiest worms, I sometimes go out hungry, just to save little we have, I crave for work so we can be independent, at times I go out for alcohol to dilute my fury for you with madness.

I sometimes wonder what I'd be without you or your desire towards me, without value, you grabbed me till to date, will you love me the same till we turn grey, sometimes I talk a lot but there's things I don't know, as I stare within a sentence, my thoughts are of you
