I Succumb To Sorrow Poem by Debdarshana Sen

I Succumb To Sorrow

When the sky kneels before
night, day leaves with heavy heart,
I succumb to sorrow.
I was happy with you
yesterday, now you are
my deadliest foe,
taking out you from that
throne, it made you stand in
enemy's row!
But, your disdainful words,
your filthiness tells me,
you are in danger!
I can't hate you.
I feel compassion for
a fallen angelic heart.
My love bathes in sad
light of negation.
I wish to succumb to death!
