I thought I knew everything
I thought I could be on my own
I thought I could do anything
I thought living wouldn't be hard
I thought losing my cool would be hard
I thought loving you was what you wanted me to do
I thought it was ok to be me & speak my mind
I thought I knew who I was
I thought I was the way everyone wanted me to be
I thought it would be easy living my dreams
I thought I could go by without needing you
I thought it was ok to let my feelings show
I thought pretending would be easy
I thought everything wouldn't be this hard
