I Thought....
I thought you didn’t love me
I thought you didn’t care
I thought you wanted her
While I wasn’t there
I thought we were over
I thought we were through
I thought you held her close
I didn’t know what to do
I thought you were leaving
I thought you had gone
I thought we had died
I couldn’t go on
I thought you touched her
I thought you had met
While I was broken
And tried to forget…
