I Told Her ‘i Love You’ At Last
I told her at last,
The words that I thought just,
I didn’t go down on my knees before her,
I put a ring inside the soft drink, neither.
I just phoned her that night,
Even though she was out of sight,
I could see her exceptional smile,
Once in a while.
“I think I’m in love with you”, said I,
She seemed shocked as if she fell from the sky! ! !
