I Turn To You Poem by Anthony Smith

I Turn To You

Rating: 5.0

This world is
A bad place to be
All the things
That tortures me

When I begin
To walk this road
Everything tries
To take its toll

Some days and nights
I turned to you
Cause no other hand
Could pull me through

No magic force
Or chicken stew
Could make me feel
The way you do

Now I must go
So far Away
To a place ill go
I’ll go today

It’s far beyond
All terrain
There, the invisible
One remain

On wings I’ll sit
I will not stand
For I'm a stranger
Within this land

Believe in me
I’ll be in the grave
Think of me
And you’ll be brave
