Words couldn't bring you back,
I know because I've tried.
Neither could a tear,
I know because I've cried.
You left behind a broken heart,
And happy memories too.
But I never wanted memories,
All I wanted was you.
To my understanding
You are what I need
But to this picture I capture
All I see is a lonely scene.
Come back to this photo
It's no me without you
And there's no one new
That can compare
To the one I knew.
