I used to come to you
But all you did was turn away
I used to want to be with you
But all you did was go astray
I used to tell you that I love you
But all you did was ignore what i had to say
I used to want to kiss you
But then you told me 'please don't' day by day
I used to want to be beautiful just for you
But then you would always be looking elsewhere
I used to always want to hear the words ' I love you'
But then again your heart was set elsewhere
Now you want to hold me near
But i'm sorry i really don't have a care
Now you tell me that you love me
But my love for you I no longer see
Now you say you cant move on without me
But to your surprise it's just gonna have to be
Now you try to make me love you
But i'm sorry it's not always about you
Now you tell me that i'm beautiful
But now i tell you, there's women out there plentiful
Now you cry so i can see your pain
But to this, nothing shall you gain
Now i tell you that i have moved on
What we used to have is so long gone.....
