I've Heard It All Poem by Matthew Diridoni

I've Heard It All

I've heard it all,
And like a blind man,
I see what I hear,
I've heard life starting,
I've heard life ending,
Cries for help when dying,
Cursing when killing,
Pictures in my mind like a slide show,
I've seen it all,
Scars and memories tell it all,
I've heard it all.

this is one powerful poem. Life continues even after going through violence. In the end it depends on how we deal with the actions we were forced into. A very striking comment to say the least. I too have beheld the dying. The pain is great but we become survivors in the end. The last gasp is hearing it all. a poet friend RH Peat
