I Waited For Life - Poem by Masa MbathaOpasha

I WAITED FOR LIFE

I waited for my life for a long time…
Years, decades of happy discontent…
Believing,
Doubting,
Hoping for peace and love,
Dreaming incredible dreams.
I waited, but life never came
Because I was all of it and more!
