I Want Night To End
I want the night to end
Let Dawn awake and rise
I want the sun to send
Its light to greet my eyes
I want to feel its fire
The warmth to touch my flesh
And raise my spirits higher
So I do see afresh
Oh Day replace the night
Oh Sun replace the moon
And stars and send your light
That I may see it soon
I want the night to end
The dark to go away
Let stars and moon suspend
Their light for coming day
