Like the heavenly tree
I want to spread my wing
To and fro, swing
I want to see my smile
On your face not cry
I want to wipe your tears
Of a million happiness
I want you to see in me hope
I want to hear your heart flow
I am proud to be Nigeria
In me the truths lie
I am green, white, and green
The beauty of my nations dream
As good as Mohandas Gandhi
