I Want You (To Be Here) Poem by Max D. Hornbogen

I Want You (To Be Here)

I want you to be here, would you come down from the heavens and to be here with me.
Seeing your smile would mean a lot to me, so would you please stand right next to me.

Well I want you to be here with me. Would you even take me to the roads of life & maybe to see what’s ahead of my future?

I walk these old streets and they seem to be coming back to my mind. Don’t you know I want you come down from the heavens and stand right next to me?

Can you feel the wind moving along, I want to be like the breeze and to fly like a bird.
So can I stand right next to you, being there with you would mean a lot to me.

I have seen many faces and places, so would you please make these memories be alive again.

Those feelings were everything to me, they just seemed so real to me.
I know, I will see you again when the time will come.

But all I can do is to wait for that moment when the sun is going down.
