I Whispered Your Name - Poem by Rich Young
I whispered your name to the winds
And the winds carried it
To God's ears
God smiled
and
Spread your name to the
blues of the sky
The yellow of the sun
The colors of an autumn
I whispered your name
And God painted
The world
A Picasso painting
Splashing the sky
Azure blue
The sun with
Golden yellow
The autumn
Colors of splendor
Only available from
Heaven
I whispered your name to the winds
And caused God
To smile!
