You’re glowing face shining in the darkness of night
Everything is dark but you’re face is so bright
How I yearn to be with the one I love
But yet, I still sit here like a lone dove
You were being responsible, and that is good
But would you love me if you could
Without getting in trouble with the law
My heart only feels alone and raw
I dream about you, night and day
My feelings for you will never stray
If only we were free to do whatever we wanted to
Then I would wish to be with you
