I wish I was your lover;
I wish that you were mine!
I wish that everything that we had between us could have gone just fine.

But it was not to be,
Because you asked me to set you free,
And now that you are gone;
I am still trying to figure out what went wrong.

As I loved you so much! !
Never thought of you to be a curse;
I am still trying to break free of this cell,
With a glimpse of hope that everything will go well;
But without you, the world seems so unreal,
Your picture in my heart still dwells! ! !

And now that theirs no one left for me on this lonely earth;
I long everyday for the stopping of my heart...
