Once we had it all
Passion and love
Blessed by the Lord
Blessed from above

Passion that was so deep
Love that was so strong
We thought to ourselves
How could this be wrong

Wonderful is what it was
It felt so good and right
It made each and every day
Shine always so bright

It made us so happy
And life was oh so grand
Each day ran away from us
as grains of time's own sand

I couldn't wait to hear your voice
Each and every blessed day
To email you and get your response
Never with nothing to say

The times we spent together
Were the best times of my life
We always seemed to mesh
And never had any strife

Would that we could be together
From now and ever more
But these words are all that's left us
No matter they be so poor

For it was wrong we be together
And hurt others the way we did
We knew that sure as day follows night
Or our love we'd never have hid

I love you still my darling
And know that I always will
I see you in my dreams each night
And hear your voice even still

I will miss you now and forever
I wish we could be friends
