Identity Poem by Donatien Moisdon

Identity

Let me drink from all your rivers,
ideal creature, now my new vision.

Have we ever fled, galloping away,
together, racing, across feudal land?

Have we ever loved?

Answer, naked visage! Respond, impassive stare!

With animal snorts, breathing lips to lips,
let us crush our hearts in a single blood.
