If Diamonds Could Talk Poem by Amgad Samy

If Diamonds Could Talk

The sun was leaving me alone
looking for the inspiring words
losing myself as usual on my own
in a deep ocean of ceaseless thoughts
I wondered if diamonds could talk
as they did in my dreams
saying which way I should walk
to embrace them in my arms
I was seeking her graceful look
as diamonds were her green eyes
my love for her was an open book
drifted in a windmill of sighs
