If I
If I tell you are only mine
with my truest heart,
why then this wall
should stand in between us?
If I welcome you
to the home of my heart
will you come in
to be the queen forever?
Love needs no words-
a heart - all it needs;
I keep you so close to my heart,
yet I walk my way
keeping so much distance.
I preserve my love
safely within my wounded heart.
