If I Am A Liar Poem by OLUDARE SAMSON ALADE

If I Am A Liar

If I am a Liar; numbers don't lie like figures do
Though not when you misplace a digit or two
likewise; when a figure's value get help to hike or move
Then you will know it is not all true
that numbers do lie as we all do

I am a Number and I do
I do one for love's preamble
And the other for self preservation truce

Since we all do
I'll do one for moan and one for being cool
So that other numbers will see me through School

Mothers don't lie like murderers do
Though not when she neglect a priority or two
Likewise; when a murderer's value gets your help to hide, hike or hatch
Then you will know one thing or tool
that Mothers do lie like we all do

I am not a Mother and I don't do dill
I don't do one for all
or one for self preservation tool

But lie; it's it! since we all do
I will do one for moan and one for being cool
so that other Numbers will say I stayed cool
