If I had left you early
I wouldn't have had a chance
To try to find out my gifts for Language;
Some are perfectly natural—and
Some are really truly miraculous—and
Some are unlikely likely magical.
If I had left you early
I wouldn't have had a chance
To tell my mates
Noun is everything—to me;
When we decided to make a revision
And tested our uncle ned.
If I had left you early
I wouldn't have had a chance
To compose my first mope
CAN DIE OUT?
And now I give birth
To twenty eight mopes.
If I had left you early
I wouldn't have had a chance
To speak with Kings and Queens—or
Prince and Princess.
I wouldn't have had a chance
To speak, seat and eat with Guru.
If I had left you early
I wouldn't have had a chance
To meet you
And chew the fat with you and ewe.
I wouldn't have had the confidence and courage
To speak in front of knights at night.
If I had left you early
I wouldn't have had a chance
To tell my Mum
How I feel about her!
I am delighted! That
I didn't leave you early.
