If I Were A Drug Poem by Amy Allbee

If I Were A Drug

If I were a drug you'd love me you'd bag me up every place you went an try to make it to me by doubling my love with it. You sniff me till I was all you could think of I'd stay in your pocket close to your heart day in and day out we would never depart. I never worry if you did lose interest because you'd be addicted. Nothing could come before me, I can make you do anything for me, even time for me, Lose your family for me. I'd be your number one, your family in a bag your wife companion your son and don't forget I was your best friend.
