In life, there's never anything like today,
Today is everything, the 'now' of the day is everything.
Never forget, it can't hold you, it wont bind you.
The ups and downs are your's to own.
The sound in the moment sounds for you,
The touch of emotion that's there, will bend at will,
The sight of control surely won't waver,
The scent of the day, if good, seems to linger,
The flavor of love is sweet, so don't let today end so fast,
Don't let that spark of today die out, your bound to be lost.
