If You Looked Poem by Mandy Author2

If You Looked

You're mature for your age,
They say,
She's sixteen going on,
Twenty five,
Little do they know,
Their complement,
Isn't taken as such,
For she is,
A scared little girl,
Hidden,
Under the guise of,
A mature young woman,
Maturity hides fear,
That you would see,
If you looked close enough,
But you never will
