I'm an Apple Bottom,
Don't want to rock my worldly body;
I'm okay,
Don't know how to praise my vivid body.
I'm okay,
I'm not for everybody anyway.
You want to bleach my frame all to you,
While I was just your innocent sunshine,
I was always there for you;
Now that I'm my own sinful desire,
I'm alive, but I'm dead to you.
I've been waiting for you to see me,
Your purple queen,
You never see me,
I don't want to waste my pity party over you.
I'm an Apple Bottom, acceptable to the opposite ethnicity,
I'm a stranger to my own skin and unusual kin,
To a similar root, I'm a duplex oreo; Apple Bottom,
Because my identity is the refusable kin throughout the nations.
I'm an indifferent Bottom,
Never fitting in,
But I'll keep shining my light,
On the ones who truly see my worth.
I may not be what society deems desirable,
But I'm proud of my curves and my hue.
I'm a symbol of diversity,
A reminder that beauty comes in all forms.
I'm an Apple Bottom,
Unique and strong, standing tall.
I may not belong to a certain group,
But I am a blend of cultures and traditions.
My body tells a story,
Of resilience, struggle, and pride.
I may not fit the mold,
But I own my identity with pride.
I'm an Apple Bottom,
Unapologetically me, and that's just fine.
So when you try to change me,
Or make me feel less than I am,
Just remember, I'm an Apple Bottom,
A symbol of beauty and strength.
I won't let your standards define me,
For I am perfectly imperfect,
Proudly rocking my curves and my melanin,
I am an Apple Bottom, and I am enough.
