Im Growin' Poem by melinda mackey

as life goes on i continue to grow.
i'm learnin' to love,
and accept every one for who they are.

although times get hard,
and things may sway,
im learning to cope with situations that come my way.

im growing.

growing to make thinkin',
out side the square.

im growing.

growing to become strong,
physically and mentally.

i won't let people nor'
things conquer my soul.

i am someone important.
and i will make a difference.
and a future i shall hold.

so if you can't learn to accept me for me.........

it's ok.
i'm not mad at you.

because the fact of the matter is that,
some people mature faster then others do.

so i just think.....
'that person will learn to cope.
it's just a phase! '

i understand.
cause your growin' too.
