I'm not going to wait for love,
It's time to take a leap.
I won't sit and watch from above,
My heart is ready to seep.
I've spent too long just dreaming,
Of a love that's pure and true.
But now I'm done with scheming,
It's time to make my debut.
I won't wait for love's invitation,
To come and knock on my door.
I'll make my own declaration,
And take my heart on a tour.
I'll paint the town with passion,
And dance under the stars.
I'll let go of any caution,
And break free from my scars.
I'll chase after my desires,
Without any hesitation.
I'll set my heart on fire,
And embrace my liberation.
I'll find love in each moment,
In the beauty of the sky.
In the laughter and enjoyment,
And in every tear I cry.
I'll love without any promise,
Without needing a guarantee.
For love is not about the premise,
But about setting my heart free.
I'll love with all my being,
With every breath I take.
I won't wait for the perfect timing,
For love is mine to make.
I'll love without any reason,
Without expecting anything in return.
For love knows no season,
And it's not something I can earn.
I'll love myself first and foremost,
Before I give my heart away.
For self-love is not to boast,
But to pave the way for love to stay.
I'll love passionately and fiercely,
With every part of my soul.
And if it doesn't come back to me,
At least I gave love my all.
I'll love like there's no tomorrow,
For love knows no boundaries.
And I won't drown in my sorrow,
For love is my ultimate remedy.
I'll love with no regrets,
For I won't wait for love to come.
I'll create my own silhouette,
And love will be my anthem.
So I'm not going to wait for love,
I'll make love wait for me.
For I am enough,
And love will eventually see.
