I'm not your savior, no hero am I

Just a simple soul, passing by

With no cape or mask, no powers divine

Just a mere mortal, a flicker in time

But you see me as a knight in shining armor

A protector, a savior, a beacon of honor

With eyes full of longing, you reach out to me

But I'm not the one who can set you free

I am but a reflection of your own desires

A canvas for your dreams, a spark of fires

But I cannot save you, from your own demons

For within you lies, the power of freedom

I know the weight, of your heavy heart

The pain and sorrow, that tears you apart

But my hands are not strong enough

To bear the burden, of your troubled love

I am not the answer, to your every prayer

I cannot lift you up, from your despair

For the journey of healing, must come from within

And only you, can break free from your own sins

You see me as a light, in your darkest night

But I am just a firefly, a flicker of light

I cannot guide you, through your stormy sea

For you have the strength, to find your own way to be

I am not your savior, no matter how much you plead

For I am just a mortal, flawed and weak

But I will walk beside you, through your trials and pain

For in this journey, we both have much to gain

I will hold your hand, and lend you my ear

As you pour out your heart, and let go of your fear

But I cannot save you, from your own mistakes

For only through learning, can wisdom awake

I am not your savior, but I will be your friend

Through the ups and downs, until the very end

I will be there, to pick you up when you fall

But in this life, we must each stand tall

So my dear, don't look to me as your savior

But as a companion, in this journey of labor

For together we'll weather, the storms that may come

And emerge stronger, when the battle is won

I am not your savior, but I'll help you see

The strength and power, that lies within thee

You are your own hero, your own guiding light

And once you embrace it, you'll shine ever so bright

So let go of this notion, that I am your savior

For I am just a friend, who'll stay by your side forever

And as we walk together, through life's winding road

You'll see that you are, your own savior, your own hero.
