I'm Thunder, That Roar by reginia Staton Dawson

I'm the sound that gets people upset
For there's not too much that I will bring
I speak with the force that tremble windows
Sometimes I scare myself, when I come in Spring.

Trees vibrate as I approach their spaces
Leaves falling freely to hide their faces
Why be afraid of me, I wonder?
For I'm just a creation, I'm just, thunder!

When "He" step out on space and clap his hands,
I was formed to show his power to man.
I usually come before the rain to warn you of what will come soon
I mean no harm, I often go, Boom! Boom! Boom!

Babies cry when I come around
I'm not a monster but a sound.
In winter when I "Boom", snow soon appears
Please don't be afraid because "Thunder" is all you hear.
